Pronte Soft Sponge (Avalox)

Pronte Soft Sponge (Avalox)

Finally, a rubber sheet truly custom-made for the 40 mm ball! Combining the latest German and Japanese technologies, Avalox Pronte represents a quantum leap forward. While other products like DHS G888 Rubber or DHS Hurricane rubber imparted great spin to the 40 mm ball, they did so at the price of a loss of feel and high weight. Avalox Pronte changes all that!

Lighter and more flexible than its predecessors, Pronte’s soft sponge provides outstanding dwell characteristics, and the revolutionary molecular composition of the top sheet gives you control over the nuances of your shots. It produces a high trajectory, which allows energy otherwise expended in lifting the ball to be put into the forward motion. The result is a devastating drive shot with tremendous spin.

Ask Ma Wenge: He switched to Pronte the day he first tried it!

Pronte is available with either a soft sponge or a medium sponge. This is the version with a soft sponge.

Type: Inverted. Speed: 8.8/10. Spin: 10.0/10. Control: 9.6/10. Sponge hardness: Soft.

A controlled and very high quality Chinese topsheet on a soft Japanese sponge. Tacky, high throw. Medium weight. Fairly easiy to use. Plays a bit like a Chinese version of Sriver FX (speed wise, unglued). Has some characteristics that make it feel comfortable close to the table (forgiving play, soft sponge, tacky topsheet). Soft sponge makes flicks fairly easy. Service is very good. Blocking is surprisingly good, Loops very well and easily with either topsheet for brushing or sponge for power. With the right forward stroke produces a surprising amount of power. Seems to play well on a variety of blades and pretty linear. It's pretty obvious that this sponge was designed for speed glue, but for all but very high level play should serve well. Think of it as a higher quality version of some of Friendship and LKT's tacky top/soft sponge offerings.

The avolox pronte is not a very familiar rubber, however it is a very good rubber.
The topsheet is tacky which makes it a very good rubber for looping and spinning. The rubber has a soft sponge, the throw is quite high and the speed is very fast, the control is ok to good in my opinion and hitting works very well, Blocking is no problem either with thye pronte ,you can give nice touch shots our powerblocks .
The avalox pronte is a real good rubber for loopers and attackers and it can be used best on the BH I think, the price is very good also wich makes it an interesting buy.
