Very expensive. Although quality control is the same in that the characteristic of every ball is the same. In my experience, the ball really lasts VERY long - but who would want to use an old ball?
i have two unique observations about butterfly balls:
1. the big butterfly mark on the ball enables you to "read" the spin of serves more easily.
2.butterfly 3-star balls seem to be heavier -- especially when trying to lift up backspin balls. i know the ittf sets standards for ball weight but it just feels heavier than other brands.

These are okay but there are better balls. They seem a little fragile and although there isn't anything particularly wrong with them they simply aren't the best option out there. With something as simple as a table tennis ball, quality to price is highly important and as usual butterfly is one of the most expensive brands out there without being an outstanding performer.

pretty standard 3 star balls. these seem to be appearring at more and more tournaments these days. 3 star balls from butterfly are pretty good, but is just really ordinary 3 star. it plays well for maybe a couple hours, but after that, especiall in a wet atmosphere, it starts to deforms and crack easily. i think the durableness is not as good as DHS balls. they are pretty good to play with

nothing really bothers me about them until maybe after you play 5 matches with them, in which it significantly decreases in playablility. the ball seems to bounce weird and not respond to spin as good. i would buy something better like DHS

Butterfly has never really been known for their balls, and these follow the trend. Although they are some pretty good quality balls with some pretty good durability, they are not out of the ordinary.

For its relatively costly price, i really do not think they make much of a difference. If you are looking for some higher quality 3 star balls, i suggest you to go with Nittaku 3 Star Premiums, if you are looking for top notch balls. Otherwise, get some DHS for its lower price but same quality.

There's nothing in these balls that would set them apart from others. Durability wise, the balls are pretty ok - does not break easily but I would choose the DHS or Double Fish over these as they're cheaper.
