Ekrips (Butterfly)

Butterfly Ekrips is the combination of a high elastic sponge and a very spinny rubber surface which makes your topspin play full of power and variation. Ekrips develops enormous power and ball touch. Designed for close-to-the-table power play, Ekrips' soft rubber surface makes it easier to counterdrive your opponent's shots early off the bounce. Very few rubbers have Ekrips' highly elastic sponge that produces very fast, low trajectory shots that lay down the smack.

The butterfly ekrips is a pretty fast rubber which can be best used by hitters it has a medium to hard sponge and a low to medium throw angle, it has got good control which makes it easy to place your smash on the table, looping however is a lot more difficult with the ekrips, it just does not have enough grip to do so, there are a lot of rubbers with wich you can spin and loop better, ofcourse for serving its the same, it produces not enough effect, so to sum it up, very good rubber for powerhitters and attackers our for a controlled backhand game

Butterfly Ekrips is a rubber with a pretty thick, medium dense, but extremely elastic or springy sponge. It is one of those rubbers that seem to act literally like a slingshot.

It is extremely good for really swift, quick bounce off the table counterloops and blocks. It has pretty good control also, so it makes a great choice of rubber for people who like to play with angles and block peoples loops. The spin is pretty average, nothing special, but sufficient to loop balls. Its also great for serves, because you can use a lot of horizontal slicing motion since it is so elastic.

Overall, i think this rubber is good for only people who have a very unique playing style.
