Matsushita Pro (Butterfly)

This blade is named after Koji Matsushita, the world-class Japanese chopper. A lighter defensive blade that is easier to manuever than traditional defensive blades. The Matsushita Pro is especially useful when the defender seeks to throw off his/her opponent's rhythm by countering or attacking aggressively close to the table. Semi-large head size.

telaio difensivo per chi ricerca solo controllo perche' a mio avviso non ha velocita', oppure bisogna montare due gomme d'attacco per rendere la racchetta piu' vivace.

[English translation by Google and admin: defensive frame for those who seek control only because in my opinion was not fast, or should attach two attack rubbers to make the racket more lively.]

Butterfly Matsushita is an all wood blade for the defensive players and choppers. There is barely any speed, but spectacular control and feeling on the blade. You can place shots very nicely, and it is also great for chopping.

The wood is really soft, and the head is pretty thin. Thus, you have extremely good control, that produce floating, slow shots that are ideal for a chopper.

The handle is kind of awkward feeling though. It is pretty big compared to the head. It feels kind of fat around your hand. I was not really fond of the handle, but it really did not bother me either.

If you are a chopper, you definitely want to try this blade out.
