Tackifire Drive (Butterfly)

Tackifire Drive (Butterfly)

TACKIFIRE - D this combination of a elastic sponge formula with a tacky and extra soft top sheet provides more power for attack and easier ball control. Tackifire provides a frightning volume of topspin for consistent loop drives. Heavy backspin for defensive and service.

The butterfly tackiness Drive is a nice rubber, its has great control but it is not real tacky what the name might makes you think. It is a grippy and firm sponge.
It is not a really fast rubber, in fat it missed some in my opinion and the spin is ok but there are much better rubbers for spinning out on the market. Hitting is ok but it lacks some power.
It is an overall nice rubber for a BH and for people who like to control the game like allrounders our defenders, certainly not a rubber for attackers!

Bty Tackifire Drive is a primarily rubber for chopping players. It is for defensive choppers who like to vary their shots with chops and some loops. It can do both pretty well, so many choppers like this rubber.

It has a low throw angle, but can create lots of spin, which makes it a good chopping rubber. It is pretty durable, and definitely meets up to Butterfly standards.

The rubber is pretty slow also, so it takes a considerable amount of control of your hand to get good with it. Only advanced choppers should be using it.

Its very durable, very good quality, as usual with all BTY rubbers.

I suggest this rubber for any players who like to chop and loop!

Oh Man! Sorry, but didn´t like this Tackifire series. This is an allround rubber, but doesn´t stand out in any sense. It´s medium sponge, controllable, grippy, rather slow and durable., but lacks of power when smashing and other attacking purposes. Will combine fine on the Backhand, don’t try out with glue. I think it´s discountinued so hardly will find in some stores at a sale price. Perhaps deserves a try if you can get it as a bargain or sale for a quality beginner rubber.
