Timo Boll Spirit (Butterfly)

Great for the European looping style of play. The Timo Boll Spirit has a good balance of speed and control. An overwhelming choice by many Butterfly sponsored players.

A very nice blade for the water-glue era. I had little problem switching from a Tibhar Samsonov Alpha to this blade.
The price is high, but you do get a very, very good blade for that money

The Butterfly Timo Spirit Blade is a classic blade used by the world champ. It is very fast, as it is extremely easy to gain momentum with it. I find it kind of hard to control though.

The blade is really thick and extremely heavy. So this is why its easy to gain momentum, but difficult to control. Its hard to keep your strokes controlled because of the heaviness of the blade, centered on the head.

The build quality is good though, and if you have a wrist and arm muscles, go for it!

A BTY Classic Blade in its own right. The TBS remains to be one of the more popular new Blades that BTY has offered, using the Arylate-Carbon Combo.

The blade offers more flexibility and dwell time compared to pure carbon blades, yet is sturdier, faster than other pure arylate blades.

The blade does not dissapoint when playing close or far from the table - it has the right amount of control when blocking, pushing, chopping and definitely has the power to play more aggressive either thru counterlooping or what have you.

Overall I would make this blade my main one for years to come.
