The New INSPIRIT has been one of the best sellers of competition rubbers throughout the world, instituted by Dawei.
The latest INSPIRIT includes Japanese rubber's high friction, German rubber's extreme speed, and Chinese rubber's fantastic spin capabilities. The crowning achievement is the Japanese technology of the Vario series, with extreme speed and fantastic spin. A really unique feel for the game!
INSPIRIT uses the latest technology "EDCS", which stands for Energy Deactivation Control System. This technology improved the rubber's weight to make it suitable for more technology players.
INSPIRIT's outstanding benefit is that in a split second the rubber absorbs the attack energy from the ball and recuperates, this is the main difference in the rubber. So our EDCS improves the storage of energy, and lets you have more speed, spin and control.
Although a bit heavy, Inspirit Regular is one of the best allaround rubbers to come out of China. Tackier than classic Japanese rubbers, but no where near as tacky as some Friendship / DHS offerings. I spent about a year with this rubber before discovering that the 35 degree sponge was more suitable to my game than the 40 degree. In 40, it's quite a bit denser and heavier and smashes, blocks and loops simply have more power. In 35, it's lighter, and has better speed glue sound and effect. But the 35 degree serves better (more mechanical spin) and is more forgiving on many active strokes, without giving up too much. It's also higher throw, and more suited to backhand in that regard. Inspirit fits a variety of strokes and styles and is one of the best values out there. People who prefer faster and mechanically spinnier rubbers will probably want to step up to the Inspirit Quattro Ultralight however.
This rubber is not very tacky, but grippy. You have to put a lot of effort to generate spin on your serves. The sponge is yellow compared to quattro. Compared to other chinese rubbers, it is pretty fast. Its probably best glued up. Unglued it is a good speed as well. This is a great all around rubber. It felt great on all looping and hitting shots. Pushing, flipping is not impressive due to the lack of spin. Chopping is manageable, but sometimes just a little too fast. Dropshots are pretty good. When I played against people, they noticed the low throw of the rubber when looping, which is pretty good. Counterlooping is pretty easy with this rubber.
