It's not the fastest blade in the world, but it is fast enough and if you lack speed with this blade, look at your technique rather then your equipment.

The control is simple outstanding, comparing it to other blades in the off+ range. Obviously, the slower the blade, the better the control, but this fast blade actually offers the same control as a lot of allround rated blades.

Despite the fact that it is a carbon blade, it feels pretty soft and is very easy to loop with, best looping blade I have ever used.

Weight is around 85-90, which gives a solid feel when you hit the ball and the weight also makes sure that you will get speed from all distances. It comes in two version, hollow and solid handle. Me, I prefer the hollow handle which moves the balance to the front of the blade, as this helps generating both speed and spin. The solid handle has a tad more control to it, most noticeable in the short game, but I prefer the extra spin/speed from the hollow handle version.

Build quality is up there with the best of them, all though it may not look like the fanciest blade ever build. But, why care about the looks when it plays great?

When it comes to value for money, the only rival to this title that I have found is the Galaxy T-8, but I think the Wavestone edges out the T-8 and might actually be the best value for money you can find.

This blade is simply not up to the quality of Butterfly blades. Initially I was very happy with my WaveStone, but then after going back to my Iolite I could really feel the difference. The Iolite produces a better feel when I hit the ball, and the control is better.

I was hoping to save money with a good cheap Chinese blade, but now I'm sticking with what I know I play better with.
