having bought this blade many many months ago, ive found that this blade doesnt pack the punch of the carbon or fast off blades.
i would definitely rate this blade the high end off-, you absolutely need fast or thick rubbers on this blade to realise its full potential. unlike carbon blades, you have to generate your own pace and get some active movement in the counters, blocks and loops. control wise, it is very very good, u can definitely feel the feedback and a medium vibration during hard shots and topspin loops, the dwell time i would also say is medium, its got plenty of time on the blade cause of the 5 ply wood. splintering isnt a problem really, ive removed and glued so many rubbers on this blade, and it has yet to splinter [unlike my dhs all round]. i would recommend this blade to controlled attackers who would aim for more consistency than pure attacking speed.
pushing and control is excellent, very unique and good touch and feeling, even if u pair it up with fast rubbers
topspin and smashes: generating ur own pace is a must, go slow and it simply dunks in the net. theres no outright power, but the consistency for the ball to be put on the table is definitely there.
the handle is kinda thin, like the uh....acoustic.
so if ur a fan of fat handles [like me], then either get some tennis grip or replace the handle altogether.
overall, this is a good off- attacking control blade, not for the outright attacker, but for the consistent looper, it does its job just fine.
