Medium speed. Medium sponge. Like many tacky Chinese rubbers, Cream MRS excels at chopping, serving and the short, close to the table game. What sets it apart is the sponge which works a bit better as you go out to mid-distance. More elastic and much softer than traditional Chinese sponges, it provides some give for looping away from the table. The topsheet is very high quality, fairly supple and fairly thick. Sponge quality varies, however, and the formulation has changed over time. It's an amazing sheet of rubber with speed glue, all the way out to mid-distance. Without glue, it's fairly predictable, and very good over the table. Available in 1.5 for defensive play and 2.2 for offensive play, it would make a great intermediate allaround rubber if there was a 1.8mm thickness. I wouldn't recommend this rubber to beginners however, as the tacky topsheet will have them making unforced errors on serve return and against top/sidespin regularly.Cream MRS also gets high marks for durability

The cream magic red sponge is a chinese rubber with a decent tacky rubber. Not as much tack as something such as geospin. It needs speed glue to have any power or speed. Otherwise when it is unglued it is a good beginner rubber. It is a all around rubber that can do it all. Decent for loops, over the table play, and chops. It is fairly durable. It can last for a while. As with most chinese rubbers, serves are spinny.
