The true HAMMER of short pips. This product is suitable for close to the table hitters and power blockers. Very large conical shaped pips, tops are cross checked and rubber is hard and spinney. Zeropong has arranged for a special production of 35 degree soft sponge. The special 35 degree adds to spin and also gives this hitting pip some much needed touch.
Classic Chinese short pips. It's VERY spinny for a short pip. I can actually generate almost as much spin on serve with it compare to using inverted (presuming that you know HOW to maximize spin capabilities of a rubber on serves). Obviously since it's a SP, the throw angle is very low, and it is more suitable for hitting than looping, but it's spinny enough to loop occasionally. Compared to Spectol, this is even more spinny, so it is still pretty similar to inverted when returning serve. Blocking is exceptional, IMO it is the number one reason to play short pips (if you are a penholder).
Overall this is a very fun rubber to use, and it can definitely frustrate some people because the ball always goes back with less spin.

I love this rubber, its my first short pips, you can realy attack though spin greatly, I no longer fear spinny serves. You can still do spinny serves and loops with it so its nearly a perfect rubber, prety cheap too
