This Forehand rubber, while Chinese with hard sponge, plays nothing like H3. It is no longer used by many Chinese National players. Available in a range of hardnesses (36-42 degree?) and a range of versions (regular, permanent tension, factory tuned), all of the sheets have in common a harder than normal sponge and a soft (for chinese) tacky top. Not super tacky, but noticeably so. To the players complaining that their loops were slow - BWII requires a forward stroke to unleash it's speed. Easily faster than H3 NEO if you have a foreward stroke, this rubber smashes and loops faster than classic Euro and Japanese rubbers. If you can't generate big speed with BW2, it's likely because your stroke is not compatible with the rubber. However, it's not as forgiving as Sriver, Coppa or Mark V, when smashing or looping underspin. But it certainly delivers in the short game, on service and for over the table attack. Factory tuned versions last 2 weeks to a month of regular play. Softer sponges on this rubber are more forgiving and easier to loop with. What was interesting about the sponge is that the harder your opponent attacks, the better control you have over the return; BW2 blocks and counters like a champ with effortless control. Not bad for pushing and service either.

Haifus blue whale II rubber is very popular nowadays, because it is used by many of chinas national players. it is very much a attacking rubber, kind of like hurricane 3 like the other review says. The top sheet is kind of soft, but very tacky and spinny. the sponge is very elastic and hard, which is good for creating much power and spin for loops.

It is definitely a very very good looping rubber. It has good spin, very good spin. The speed is actually slow than i thought, it has a kind of feeling of floating thru the air. For blocking, it has okay control, but great for counterloops as well. not a good back hand rubber, but good fore hand.

Haifu Blue whale II rubber is the new generation of DHS hurricane, all the chinese players use it now! Basically, its a pretty dense sponge. The sponge is rather hard, pretty much like a hurricane sponge around 43 degress hardness. But it is very elastic. The topsheet is very tacky, good for lots of spin. As far as the speed and spin, they are very high. The control is also very unique. it is hard to control the ball for like placing angles, but it is very good for blocking. You could really vary the speed and deepness of your blocks nicely. It was also great for looping, except that it had a slow, floating feel.
