Calling this an Allaround blade is silly. Seated somewhere between OFF- and OFF, the Stiga Clipper is a fairly heavy (usually around 90 or so grams or a bit more). It is well balanced however, and a great blade for intermediate to advanced players. For it's speed, it has remarkable control, both in the short game and out to mid distance. With the soft limba outer plies, it blocks, pushes and counters with remarkable touch. Over the table loops also have quickness, although you will have to work at generating spin. Blocking has amazing control for a blade of this speed with a solid punch. And the blade has remarkable gears. It keeps giving back, if you can put the power into it. Unlike the WRB versions which feel cumbersome with Chinese FH rubbers, the Clipper (or Clipper Classic) is well suited to a huge range of rubbers, from classic Japanese, to modern German super soft and even Traditional and Hybrid Chinese types. But Stiga's blades are always very rough and unfinished... they require some sanding and sealing to remove the rough edges and prevent splintering from replacing rubbers. The Stiga Clipper is a very good value, and these blades can last many years if you avoid contact with the table.

once very popular blade but noow not so much because speed glue is not allowed so it is not as good so not a lot of people use it, but still pretty good blade for its relatively cheap price. it has very unique speed and touch and sound feeling. it sort "clips" the ball, producing very swift, quick shots. the wood is medum hardness, absorbs some shakiness too. it is relatively heavy paddle to me, but may be different for other people. one thing that is not optimum is the durability. seems to chip and dent and tear VERY easy, so you have to be careful when regluing. otherwise, its wroth the buck.

I agree with most of the statements made by teh_anarchist but clipper being an all blade is ridiculous, seriously... I has good touch, many world class china players use Cl, IT IS NOT a beginner blade, it's got plenty of speed, but not that uncontrollable... i'd say its between off and off+ if combined with right rubber. Suits well with chinese rubbers imo... THe wrb loops a tad better, but not that much difference, except like he said, the weight is shifted forward... If you want a better looping blade with a little less speed but about the same power, I highly recommend the galaxy M-6. As for the quality, pictures of this blade are really horrible... for such a high quality blade!

the stiga clipper wood is a heavy 7ply blade weighing around 90-95 grams, but it is a very controllable blade, touch shots just over the net are no problem, it is quite fast but no off + more off- maybe off but it has al the speed you need. Looping and spinning are no problem either although it is not a very flexible blade, blocking goes very well to. ,overall it is a very good and controllable blade for both attackers and allrounders despite the weight, it is priced very good to!

The Clipper is very similar to the Clipper WRB, but without the WRB technology. Basically, the difference is in WRB blades, less weight is added to the blade's handle, thus allowing for a shift towards the head in terms of a distribution of weight. WRB blades are more for attackers, with high velocity loops and drives. The regular Clipper blade has less of an offensive type, and more all around. It has better control, but do not expect to make the powerful shots you can make with the Clipper WRB. If you ask me, i would buy the WRB, since the price is relatively the same. But if you are looking for an ALL blade, get this, its not a bad buy!
