This short pip is probably the equivalent of 802-40 in the Japanese market. The pips are quite a bit smaller in diameter, and a little bit more spaced out than 802-40. This makes it less sensitive to spin, also more difficult to produce spin. As the 802-40 is as close as inverted as it gets, the Spectol plays quite far from a normal inverted rubber.

Spectol cancels spin with ease, so it makes serve return and hitting through spin with ease. What's truly special though, is the blocking ability of the rubber. It blocks people's loop effortlessly and sends a sinking ball back over to the opponent.

This is the 21 version of Spectol, with the 21 sponge, which is very soft and has a much more profound reglue effect than the old Spectol.
