0 forum posts Mizutani Jun, Japan’s rising star, along with Butterfly’s technical staff, has designed the ultimate attacking weapon for his modern topspin game. Harnessing the power and control of Butterfly’s ZL Carbon Fiber, the Jun Mizutani Jun blade offers great speed and more dwell time for the ball on the blade than traditional carbon rackets. The racket matches his dynamic style of play and could enhance your game as well. Speed: 100

Written by Anonymous First of all, it is a beauty! Second, it offers an incredible feel for the ball which makes most allround blades jealous, not to spesk of the offensive blades. The dwell time is large, spin capabilities are tremendous! Blocking is sweet, serve return is outstanding. The catapult is great, with light speed for touch shots, and tremendous speed for kills! Give it a try! 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful

Written by Anonymous First, the similarities. Both blades have a pretty hard feel, with the Amultart being slightly harder than the Mizutani Jun. Both blades are also very explosive. Butterfly rates the Amultart as 10.2 on speed and the Mizutani Jun as 10.0, and those numbers are very accurate, as both are lightning fast and its hard to tell the difference when asked which one is faster. Also, both have similar weights as well, and excellent weight balance. They are noticeable head heavy, but you can still get tremendous racket speed because there is some weight in the handle (not all of it is in the head). Now the difference: Here is where I tell you why I prefer the Mizutani Jun over the Amultart and why I believe is is a better blade for whats to come in the future of table tennis. With the speed glue ban in effect, The Mizutani has a much much much better feel than the Amultart without sacrificing anything. The dwell time on the Mizutani is noticeable greater than the Amultart, so I was able to hit very powerful, spinny, point winning shots with confidence with the Mizutani, whereas many of my shots went long when using the same stroke with the Amultart. There is also a good deal more control with the Mizutani than the Amultart. The Amultart acts too much like a slingshot, whereas the Mizutani acts like a trampoline, allowing the ball to contact the rubber for a longer time, which makes it good for both spin and speed. It is much easier to block, chop, and play a delicate, touchy short game with the Mizutani. Overall, this blade is the way to go. With all these new "spring sponge" rubbers coming from butterfly to counter the speed glue effect, most of them will feel very hard and a blade like Mizutani takes full advantage of those rubbers without sacrificing any control or feel. Even though both of these blades are good products from Butterfly, I highly recommend the Mizutani Jun over the Amultart. 5 of 10 people found the following review helpful
